Its flu season and Brentwood Health Care Center wants to send out some awareness for keeping yourself and loved ones safe and healthy! According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention adults 65 years and older are at a greater risk of serious complications from the flu.  A couple tips to prevent illness are:

  1. Get a Flu Shot

Contact your healthcare provider to get more information and schedule your flu shot by the end of October if possible.

  1. Practice Good Health Habits

Wash your hands often, cover your mouth when you cough, and avoid people who are sick.

  1. Stay Warm!

Wear layers and keep blankets handy to keep your body temperature up.

From everyone at Brentwood Health Care Center we wish you fun, safe, and healthy Autumn!
